Travel Time to Work
Summary: Overall, Red Wing residents have a shorter commute than in the county or state. Almost 30% of us travel less than 10 minutes to work. One-third of us (35.4%) travel 10 to 19 minutes. More than 7% of us travel one hour or more each way.

Means of Transportation to Work
Summary: We are still a driving community. Almost 91% of us drive to work. Only 2% walk, and less than 2% take the Hiawatha Transit bus. Some of us don’t travel at all - almost 5% now work from home.
